View Award - Ribbon of Merit
The Ribbon of Merit symbolizes the sacrifice, resilience, and dedication demonstrated by the men and women of Obsidian Fleet in service to the ideals and mission of the Fleet. This distinction is awarded to individuals who have endured significant hardship, injury, or lasting consequences arising from their service, yet continue to exemplify commitment, professionalism, and perseverance in the face of adversity. Eligibility for this ribbon requires the prior award of the Purple Heart. Members whose service-related injuries or ongoing medical conditions prevent them from carrying out their normal duties remain eligible for this recognition as a testament to their sacrifice.
In addition, the Ribbon of Merit recognizes those who demonstrate exceptional teamwork and collaborative storytelling within their simm or unit. Recipients consistently work alongside fellow crew members to build immersive, engaging, and memorable plotlines that enhance the reputation, cohesion, and success of their vessel or command. This ribbon honors not only sacrifice in service, but also the enduring spirit of unity and cooperation that strengthens Obsidian Fleet as a whole.
