Excelsior II class – The Excelsior II-class was introduced sometime prior to 2401 as a successor to the successful Excelsior-class, having been in service for well over 100 years.
Trumbull Deck Listing – The vessel consists of 34 operational decks divided between command, habitation, scientific, tactical, engineering, and support functions. The upper decks are dedicated primarily to command operations, senior staff accommodations, diplomacy, and sciences, while the central sections house medical, security, tactical, and primary operational facilities. The lower decks contain the ship’s engineering systems, cargo operations, environmental controls, auxiliary support infrastructure, and antimatter containment systems. Designed as a long-range explorer and battlecruiser hybrid, the internal layout emphasizes efficient crew movement, rapid tactical response capability, and long-term self-sustained deployment operations.
